The UDARNITSA factory was founded in 1929 on the basis of the Shabolovsky brewery of the “Karneev, Gorshanov and Co.” trading house, which products were widely known not only in Moscow and other Russian cities, but were also delivered to the court of His Imperial Majesty.

It all started with four small shops, where various varieties of marshmallow and marmalade confectionery were produced. In the 1930s, the factory technologists created a lighter product, which got the name “Zephyr” for its unusual tenderness and airiness. In the period from 1933 to 1938 the factory invented and started production of lots of classical Soviet delicacies, many of which are unique not only for Russia, but also have no analogues in the world.

Today, UDARNITSA is as strong as ever, producing lots of high-quality and popular Russian sweets, including the “Charmel” brand of marshmallow and “Marmelandia” marmalade, which you can buy in our shop.
