Kolomenskoe factory was founded in 1956 as “Hlebozavod №15” (Bread Factory #15) in order to serve the citizens of Moscow with a fresh bread. Which it did until the fall of USSR, when in 1991 the factory was renamed to “Kolomenskoe” and modernized to produce not only bread, but a lot of other products too, including wafers.
Thus, the legendary “Shokoladnitsa” waffle cake was born, which is still a flagship product of this factory you can buy in our shop.
